Last winter I learnt the importance of a good hat! I wore a hat for 4 months straight as temperatures here got down as low as -17 degrees. This week the temperatures have already started dropping so I was happy to stumble upon this beautiful Costo Concept Store.

Costo create accessories in a sustainable and considered fashion. Their products which range from hats and backpacks to aprons and bow ties are all made from industrial leftover materials which is why I want to share their concept.

I loved their pure merino beanies which come with interchangeable pop poms, so you can choose your hat and your pom pom colour or buy an assortment and mix them up. I went for a black beanie and a bold coral pom pom! Many styles also come in kids sizes so I might go back and pick one up for my little G, letting her pick her own colours.

Hubby wants to know if I intentionally colour matched my hat to our pram… Ah, no I did not.

  1. Cute hat! I thought of the matching pram too, hahah 🙂 Last winter I wore the same old beanie for several months, too. Always a hassle with your hair when you take it off indoors, but no choice! I’ll have to check out the link to that shop! 🙂
